Vamshivat




Vamshivat is a small village that lies at 2 km from Bhandiravana in Mathura District. The local people believe that this is the place where Lord Krishna used to play with Sudama.

There is a temple dedicated to Sudama. The sacred Yamuna River flows nearby. This place is believed to have been blessed with the presence of Lord Chaitanya, Nityananda Prabhu and Advaita Acharya.

Mathura Junction Railway Station and Agra Civil Enclaves are the nearest railway station and airport respectively.
