Vamana Temple

The Vamana Temple, built around 11th century, is located at Khajuraho in Chhatarpur District. Dedicated to Lord Vamana, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the temple has a single tower and the sanctum houses the images of four armed Vamana. Built in Chandela style, the roof pediment of the temple is noted for conspicuous erotic scenes.

The Mahoba railhead is located about 63 km from here. A daily Boeing 737 service connects the place with major cities in India.
