Valayam is a small village located in Kozhikode District, near the border with Kannur, in Kerala. It is situated 20 km north-east of Vadakara and about 70 km north of the district headquarters, Kozhikode.
Lokanarkavu Temple, Nadapuram Archeological Museum and the union territory of Mahe constitute interesting excursions near Valayam.
