Vaishali Mahotsava is one of the grand festivals in

Bihar. This festival is celebrated in mid April, on the full moon day, to commemorate the birth of
Lord Mahavir - the last and 24th
Tirthankar of the Jain religion. Lord Mahavir was born in
Vaishali.
