Vaishali Mahotsava




Vaishali Mahotsava is one of the grand festivals in Vaishali District of Bihar. This festival is celebrated in mid April, on the full moon day, to commemorate the birth of Lord Mahavir - the last and 24th Tirthankar of the Jain religion. Lord Mahavir was born in Vaishali. People from neighboring districts also visit this place to be a part of this celebration.
