Vaiphei Tribe inhabits areas in
Churachandpur District of
Manipur.
Their dialect is Vaiphei and is slightly different from that of the Gangte, Zou and Paite tribes. Vaiphei people’s language is very close to Gangte, but they spell similar to Paite. They use Roman scripts.
Economic source is Jhum cultivation. They also depend on forest products.
