Vageshwari Mataji Temple is situated at
Wadhwan, in
Surendranagar District of
Gujarat. It is one of the old temples of Shrimali Sonis. The family deity of Shrimali Sonis, Vageshwari Mataji is the presiding deity. Kaal Bhairav is also enshrined in the temple. Every year thousands of devotees from far and near visit the temple to pay their respect.
Havan, a ritual worship in holy fire by offering oblations, is performed at this temple on Chaitra Sud 8 and Aaso Sud 8 (the 8th day of the first fortnight of the 6th and 12th month respectively).
