Vaduvoor is a charming village situated between Thanjavur and Mannargudi, in Tamil Nadu. This small hamlet is famous for the ancient Shri Kodhanda Rama Swami Temple. With its beautiful ponds, meandering rivulets and canals, and the vast expanses of green paddy fields, Vaduvoor presents a delightful sight of nature’s splendor at work.

Vaduvoor was once offered to the vidhwans by the kings of Thanjavur on an Ekadasi day; hence it is also called as 'Ekadasi' village.

Vaduvoor Birds Sanctuary, located near Mannargudi in Tiruvarur District is worth a visit.

The nearest airport is at Tiruchirapalli, 58 km from Thanjavur. The nearest railway station is at Tiruchirapalli.
