Vadgam is located 12 km to the west of
Palanpur , in Banaskantha District of
Gujarat. It is bounded by Kanodar (10 km) in the west, Jalotra (11 km) in the east and Mahmadpur (4 km) in the south. Dairy husbandry and diamond business are the main occupations of the villagers. The Sardar Sarovar Dam Project is a major landmark in this region.
