Vaccharaja Ghat

Vaccharaja Ghat is a sacred place for the Jain community in Varanasi. It is close to the birth place of seven Jain Tirthankars. This ghat got its name from a merchant Vaccharaja, who made it pucca during the 18th century. Formerly, Jain Ghat was a part of this ghat. Occasional cultural programs, Bhajan and kirtans are organized here.
