Urs of Ubaidullah




A popular festival of Lakshadweep, Urs of Ubaidullah is held at Andrott every year. It is celebrated in commemoration of a Muslim saint, Hazrat Ubaidullah. On this occasion, the devotees do not sleep a wink at night reciting 'Moulood' - a short biography of the Prophet Mohammed written in Arabic.
