Unwas Durga Temple




Unwas Durga Temple, built around the 10th century, is located at Unwas, near the famous Haldighati in Udaipur District, Rajasthan.

This beautiful temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. It has a plain pancha-ratha shrine with battered brick Shikhara. The temple is of similar architecture as that of the Jagat temple at Udaipur.

Haldighati is an historic place, witness to the great battle between Maharana Pratap and Mughal Emperor Akbar, situated around 40 km from Udaipur.
