Situated on the NH 47, at about 14 km from
city, the University College of Engineering is a premier institution offering technical education in various disciplines. Functioning from the academic year 2000-2001 onwards, the college provides B.Tech courses in computer science and engineering, information technology, and electronics and communication engineering.
Admissions are done on the basis of rank obtained in the common entrance test held by the state government.
