Umrala is located in Bhavnagar District of Gujarat. It is about 30 km west of Bhavnagar.
Umrala is the birthplace of Pujya Gurudev Shree Kanji Swami who revolutionized the percept and practice of Jainism. The original building, where he lived, is now a Jain Mandir. A Swastika is drawn on the ground floor in the exact place where he was born. The house also exhibits the articles used by him in his childhood.
