Umba Pass, also known as Umba-la, is situated at an altitude of about 3350 m, in
Jammu and Kashmir. The pass is an ideal base for trekking. One can reach
Kargil via the
Suru valley, by climbing up the Umba-la Pass. The trekking route to
Drass can be reached by crossing this pass. A charming village, Umba is located nearby.
