Uggi

A beautiful hamlet, Uggi is in Jalandhar District of Punjab. It is on the way to Kapurthala from Nakodar, about 15 km south-west of Jalandhar.

Places of tourist interest outside this village include Dakhni Sarai and the 17th century Mughal Bridge at Nakodar and Panch Mandir, Moorish Mosque and Jagatjit Palace.

By road, Uggi is around 20 km south-east of Kapurthala. Nakodar Junction Railway Station on the Jalandhar-Nakodar-Ludhiana line serves this area. The nearest airport is at Ludhiana.
