Ugani




Ugani is a sacred village in Patiala District of Punjab. This place is believed to have been visited by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib and Guru Gobind Singh Sahib. The major attraction is a gurdwara built by Maharaja Karam Singh of Patiala in the 1830s to preserve the memory of the visits of the gurus. The gurdwara which has two Manji Sahibs, one for each Guru, attracts a large number of devotees.

The village is about one km away from railway station at Sarai Banjara and 10 km from Rajpura. The nearest airport is Ludhiana Airport.
