Uchista Mahaganapati Temple is located at
Ramanathapuram in
Palakkad District. The temple deity is
Lord Ganesh and the temple faces west. It is believed that the deity of the temple blocks the 'drishti' of
Lord Shiva in Tarakkal village. The idol is noted for its artistic work.
