Tulsi Manas Temple




Tulsi Manas Temple is a modern marble shrine, situated adjacent to the Durga Temple, in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

This temple, built in Shikhara style, is dedicated to Lord Ram. Built in 1964 by a philanthropist family, the walls of the temple are imprinted with verses and scenes from the Ramcharitmanas, the Hindi version of the Ramayana. The production of moving and performing statues and scenes from Hindu mythology can be seen on the 2nd floor of the temple.

Non-Hindus are also permitted to this temple. Wonderful landscaping around the temple is the added attraction.
