Tuensang




Located at an altitude of 1370 m, Tuensang is the headquarters of Tuensang District in Nagaland. It is 235 km northeast of Kohima.

Tuensang is the homeland of the Changs, Yimchungers, Khiamungans, Sangtams, Semas and Phoms. It is known for its handicrafts and handloom products.

Longtrok, Kiphire, Saramati, Yakor and Sangpur, Noklak and Pungro are the main attractions.

Dimapur Airport is the nearest airport. The nearest railway stations are Mariani Junction Railway Station and Furkating Junction Railway Station in Assam.
