Tsungkamniu Festival is celebrated by the
Yimchunger tribe of
Nagaland. This festival, which celebrates the harvest of the crops, is celebrated from Jan 14th to Jan 16th.
Young men and women of the village go round the village, to each home, dancing. They receive cooked rice, meat and wine from each house they visit. The day is spent eating, drinking and dancing.
