Trikartika Festival is celebrated in
Kerala during the Malayalam month of
Vrischikam (November - December). This festival is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavati.
On this occasion, the houses are well lit with oil lamps. Special prayers are held in the temples dedicated to goddess. These prayers, held during evening, are attended mostly by women.
