Trikandiyur Shiva Temple, located near the town of
Tirur, is a historic shrine visited by numerous pilgrims. Parashuram, the legendary creator of
Kerala, is believed to have consecrated the idol here.
Regular bus service is available to Trikandiyur from Tirur and neighboring towns and villages. Tirur is the nearest railway station.
