Set at an altitude of about 1200 m above sea level, Touphema is a village in
Kohima District of
Nagaland. It is about 60 km from
Khonoma.
Angami is one of the major tribes inhabiting Touphema. The ethnic huts here make Touphema interesting from a tourist point of view. One gets a chance to explore surrounding Angami villages from here.
By road, Touphema can be easily approached from Kohima, Dimapur and Longkhum.
