Topchanchi Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in
Dhanbad District of
Jharkhand. Spread over an area of 9 sq km, this sanctuary is home to a large variety of flora and fauna.
The inhabitants of the sanctuary include panther, wild boar, languor and barking deer.
The best time to visit this sanctuary is from October to June. Accommodation facilities are available at the well furnished inspection bungalow of Jharia Water Board.
