Tonglu is located in
Darjeeling District of
West Bengal. It lies on the Maneybhanjan–Sandakphu trek route and is about 22 km from Sandakphu.
The place provides panoramic view of the whole of eastern Nepal and Sikkim including Mt Kanchenjunga. The sunrise and sunset over these mountains is eye catching.
Maneybhanjan is about 11 km from Tonglu. Maneybhanjan can be accessed from Siliguri via Ghoom. Jeep services are available from Darjeeling.
