Tomb of Mirza Aziz Kotaltash




Tomb of Mirza Aziz Kotaltash, also known as Chaunsath Khamba, Chausath Khamba and 64-pillar monument, is placed near the Nizam-ud-Din Shrine in Delhi. The monument was built during the reign of Jahangir by Mirza Aziz Koka alias Kotaltash the son of Ataga Khan.

Built using white marble, the tomb has 64 columns to support twenty-five bays with a dome. The domes are not visible from outside. Each facade has five arches held up by square columns and a marble screen closes each arch.

Tomb of Mirza Aziz Kotaltash is located west of Mathura road in Delhi.
