Tomb of Giyath al-Din

This tomb of the 6th Sultan of the Bahmani Dynasty is one of the finest royal tombs situated to the southern entrance of Gulbarga Fort. This tomb is much more imposing than the tombs of the other sultans. Built on a low basement, this domed fort has fortification on the east and small towers at the four corners of the roof. Nearby is the tomb of his son Shams al-Din Bahmani.
