Todi Fatehpur




Todi Fatehpur is a village around 25 km from Gursaray in Taharoli taluk, Jhansi District. This place is a major Jain site enriched with beautiful temples. The village houses an ancient fort called Todi Fatehpur Fort which is famous for the Golden Kalash, a 50 kg round pot. The 700 year old Shri Digambar Jain Atishaya Chamatkari Kshetra and Shri Parshwanath Digambar Jain Temple are the main attractions. A small river called Patrai flows nearby. There are five ponds and a big well with 24 ghats. There is another temple, Motiwala Chaudhary's Temple, worth visiting. Lodging facilities are available. Mauranipur Railway Station is at 30 km from here. The nearest airport is at Gwalior.
