Tiruvotriyur




Tiruvotriyur (also called Thiruvetteeswaranpettai) is located on the coastal suburb of Chennai (10 km). The place is famous for ancient temples. The main attraction here is the Adhispurishvarar Temple, which dates back to the 8th century. Other temples in the vicinity are Lavapureeswarar temple, Nandikeswarar temple and Devi Vadivudai Amman temple.
