Tiruvizha

Tiruvizha, also spelt Thiruvizha, is a small village in Alappuzha District of Kerala. It lies on the National Highway 47, about 5 km south of Cherthala. Alappuzha, the district headquarters, is 13 km south-east.

The place is famous for Travancore Cocotuft Private Limited, one of the most prestigious names in Indian Coir. Thiruvizha Viharam Temple is a highly revered shrine situated here.

The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport. Cherthala Railway Station serves Tiruvizha.
