Tiruppachetti

Tiruppachetti is a small town situated on National Highway 49, midway between Manamadurai and Tiruppuvanam, in Sivagangai District. Madurai lies 35 km north-west of Tiruppachetti.

Rameshwaram, Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple at Madurai, Pazhamuthircholai and Nallamangaibagaswamy Hill Temple at Piranmalai constitute interesting excursions from Tiruppachetti.

Nearest airport is at Madurai. Tiruppachetti Railway Station is on the Madurai-Ramanathapuram rail line of Southern Railways.
