Tirunelveli Medical College is located at Palayamkottai on the banks of Tamiraparani River. TMC was established in 1966. It offers UG courses and PG courses in General Medicine, Pathology, Micro Biology, Forensic Medicine, and General Surgery, diplomas, and para medical courses.
