Tipu Sultan's Mosque was constructed by Ghulam Mohammed Shah, the son of
Tipu Sultan in 1842. The mosque is double-aisled and with multiple domes and tall corner towers. The rounded arches and meticulous details are drawn from the British colonial architecture.
