Tipu Sultan's Mosque

Also called Dharamtollah Mosque



Tipu Sultan's Mosque was constructed by Ghulam Mohammed Shah, the son of Tipu Sultan in 1842. The mosque is double-aisled and with multiple domes and tall corner towers. The rounded arches and meticulous details are drawn from the British colonial architecture.

Tipu Sultan's Mosque is situated at the road junction of Central Avenue, Dharamtollah.
