Located on the
Mizoram border, Tipaimukh is one of the sub-divisions of
Churachandpur District. It is located on the banks of the
Barak River. This is a Hmar tribe concentrated area. The multipurpose Tipaimukh Hydro Electric Project is positioned here.
The National Highway 150 connecting Seling and Kohima passes through this place.
