Tijam




Tijam is a rural area in Pithoragarh District of Uttaranchal. This small village is situated near Sobala, the starting point of the trekking route to Baling. Munsiyari and Dharchula are the nearby major towns.

The Dhauliganga River, an important tributary of the River Ganges, flows very close to this village. Located in the lap of mountains and valleys, Tijam, like many other villages in Uttaranchal is an ideal location for a peaceful holiday. Trekking and climbing activities are possible for those so inclined.
