Thumbru Theertham

Thumbru Theertham is a cascading waterfall originating from the holy Tirumala Hills, about 150 km from Horsley Hills in Chittoor District. This place is associated with a saint named Thumbru.

Folklore has it that the saint Thumbru did penance here to get rid of the curse by Narada. Devotees believe that all the sacred waters join together at this theertham. A grand fair is held here on the full moon day of Uthra Ashta (March-April).

Tirupati Airport and Renigunta Junction Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station.
