Thrissur State Museum




Established in 1885, State Museum in Thrissur is of great archeological significance. It displays amazing artifacts, temple models, stone sculptures, old coins and reproductions of some of the murals at renowned churches.

The State Museum is spread over in six hectors of land. Zoological Garden, Botanical Garden, Art Museum and Natural History Museum are in this compound. A library is also attached to the museum.

The museum is situated at Chembukavu, 4 km from Thrissur Railway Station. It is open from 10:00 to 17:00 hrs on all days, except Mondays.
