Thrikodithanam Sri Subramanya Temple




Sri Subramanya Temple is an ancient shrine located at Thrikodithanam, a village in Kottayam District. It stands near the famous Mahavishnu Kshetram, towards south-eastern side. The temple is at a distance of about 4 km from Changanacherry on the way to Chanjody.

The presiding deity is Lord Muruga. Belief is that this temple was one of the reasons for building the Mahavishnu temple. It is said that one who visiting the Mahavishnu temple must pray at this shrine.

Thrikodithanam is around 25 km south-east of Kottayam. The nearest railhead is Changanacherry Railway Station.
