Thoufeed, a book of lyrics, is composed by Fempuri Bebe of
Minicoy. It is held in high esteem because it is the pioneering effort of a local scholar. The narration of this book is vivid and simple. It contains the preaching of the Prophet and the five cardinal principles of Islam which have to be followed by all its faithful followers. It is recited during religious ceremonies.
