Thottakad

Thottakad, also spelt Thottackad, is a beautiful village in Kottayam District of Kerala. It is bounded by Kurichi in the west, Karukachal in the east, Vakathanam in the north and Thrikodithanam in the south.

The village boasts many schools, churches and temples. Pambady, Bishop Kurialacherry Nature Cure and Yoga Centre, Karikulam temple and St Johns Orthodox Syrian Church are some of the tourist places around Thottakad.

By road, Thottakad can be approached from Kottayam and Changanacherry. The nearest railhead is Changanacherry Railway Station.
