Thosamling Nunnery is an Institute for Buddhist Women at
Dharamsala in
Kangra District. The word ‘Thosamling’ means a place for hearing, study and reflection of the Buddha’s teaching.
It is a place for ordained women to live as a religious community, study Buddhist Philosophy and Tibetan language, and practice together in a supportive spiritual community. The institute offers long and short-term retreat facilities for nuns and women.
