Thiruvambadi Shri Krishna Temple is located at Manthara near Varkala in Thiruvananthapuram District. The presiding deity is Lord Krishna.
The main festival of the temple is a two-day celebration. On the last day, there is the Arattu. A procession takes place in the evening with nine caparisoned elephants with folk arts Ammankudam and Mayilattam as accompaniment. Another festival is celebrated on Ashtamirohini (Shri Krishna Jayanthi), the birthday of Lord Krishna.
