Thirumalai Engineering College, under the aegis of Kanchi Krishna Educational Trust, was instituted in the year 1999-2000. It is located in Kilambi Village, 5 km west of Kanchipuram on the Kanchipuram-Vellore Highway.
Affiliated to the Anna University, the college offers under graduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
The college has a built up area of 90,000 sq ft with standardized classrooms, canteen, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls and a bank. Placement assistance is also provided by the institute. Admissions are done as per rules and regulations setup by the Government of Tamilnadu.
