Thippagondanahalli Reservoir




The avian paradise of Thippagondanahalli Reservoir stands at the confluence of the rivers Arakavathi and Kumudavathi. This is a heaven for bird watchers and nature lovers. It is pleasant to watch spotted eagle, black kites, common kestrel, oriental honey buzzard, shikra, brahminy kite, and lots of other aquatic birds. This reservoir is also known as Chamarajasagar.

Thippagondanahalli Reservoir is 35 km east of Bangalore.
