Thillaikaliamman Temple, built around 13th century by Kopperunjingan, is located on the northern end of
Chidambaram, in
Tamil Nadu. This beautiful temple enshrines the image of
Goddess Kali with a diamond on her forehead.
The sub deities worshipped include
Lord Ganesh, Sri Thillaiamman, Sri Thillaikali,
Lord Muruga,
Goddess Durga, Sri Viranar and Sri Kanagavaishnavi. Special pujas are conducted on Fridays and Sundays.
