The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Health

The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Health Built in 1989, The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Health is a place of worship located at Raliang, 30 km off Jowai on the Jowai-Garampani Road. This Roman style architecture shrine is constructed as an octagonal cross. Although it appears to be a three storied structure, it is actually a big hall with the altar at the center. The windows features Roman arches. The shrine, with three main entrances, can accommodate about one thousand persons.

There is an impressing statue of Our Lady of Good Health, made of shimmering white marble standing on a globe, inside the shrine.

The shrine is a replica of the Shrine of Our lady of Good Health at Turin, Italy.
