The Old Magazine House Forest Camp

The Old Magazine House Forest Camp, a unit of Jungle Lodges and Resorts Ltd., Bangalore, is situated on Londa to Dandeli Road in Joida Taluk, Karnataka. At an altitude of 1,800 ft above sea level, it has ethnic bamboo huts with mud plaster and bunk houses for accommodation. Dining facility is provided in a spacious terrace above the house. The service counter at the side of the dining area is a place for snacks. Guests can also dine under a big tree nearby and around a camp-fire at night.

Whitewater rafting on Kali River, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking, trekking and elephant riding facilities are offered. Accommodation charge is from Rs.450. Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is worth visiting. The closest airport is in Goa (130 km). The camp is at distances of 120 km and 100 km from Panaji and Karwar.
