Navjivini School of Special Education in
Patiala is run under Navjivini Society for Mental Health, which stands for the rehabilitation of children with mental disabilities. The school teaches the students to dress independently and creats awareness about the concepts of colour, shapes and money. The curriculum also comprises physical education. Parental counselling and bridge courses for teachers of special schools are other features. Vocational training is given for students. Cultural festivals are organized.
