The Maval

Place of tourist importance


Maval is the headquarters of a taluk in Pune District. It is a hilly place situated to the west of Pune. The area houses large number of animals such as rabbit deer, wolf, fox, tiger, and leopard. The bird population includes peacock, bulbul, parrot, and migrating birds.
