The International School




Located in the NAFL Valley, near Dommasandra Circle, Bangalore, the International School is run by the National Academy for Learning (NAFL). It was established by Dr Gopalakrishna, an educationist. International level education and guidance in critical thinking, social openness and purposeful research are provided. The International School Bangalore offers up to higher secondary level education, and students from over 30 countries study here. The IGCSE (the International General Certificate of Secondary Education) programme from Cambridge University is conducted in grades IX and X, and the XI and XII level students prepare for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. A pre-IGCSE programme is followed in grades VI through VIII. Many enrichment activities including trips and exchanges with other fine schools are arranged.

Talented students can obtain placement for their higher education in famous universities world wide including LSE and Ivy League colleges of USA, through its college placement program.

There are a 25-meter swimming pool, basketball, volleyball, tennis courts, roller blade rink and a horse-riding track and a gymnasium. Extra curricular activities such as debates, quizzes, art contests, craft shows, cooking contests and fashion shows are organized.
